Sure Power Battery Separators Recalled

Hazard:  The internal circuit board capacitor of the recalled battery separators can fail and lead to overheating, smoke, or fire during or after use, resulting in property damage or personal injury.
This recall involves certain battery separators sold under the brand Sure Power. These products are designed for use in a multi-battery application. Typically, the battery separator provides for additional battery power for operating accessories that have been added to a vehicle.

The affected units have the following model and serial numbers.

Remedy:  Consumers should immediately stop using and disconnect the recalled product, and contact Sure Power for further information.
