PowerLine® Inverters by Original Power, Inc.Recalled

Hazard:  The recalled products have not been evaluated and are not certified to Canadian standards, and may pose a safety hazard to consumers.
This recall involves PowerLine® Inverters that can be identified as follows:
  • Power Line 0900-90 (200 Watt): an inverter with 2 AC outlets and 1 USB power port which allow users to power 2 household devices and one USB powered device from their vehicle power socket. The device is black and can be identified by the UPC 027005900906.


  • Power Line 0900-93 (140 Watt): an inverter with 1 AC outlet and USB power port which allow users to power a household device and a USB powered device from their vehicle power socket. The device is black and can be identified by the UPC 027005900937.


  • Power Line 0900-88 (75 Watt): an inverter with 1 AC outlet which allows user to power their household device from their vehicle power socket. The device is black and can be identified by the UPC 027005900883.
Approximately 37,173 units of the unapproved products were sold exclusively at Wal-Mart Corporation across Canada.

Remedy:  Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the product and return the unapproved product to Wal-Mart for a refund.
